New data shows a significant rise in ttfd australia this Autumn, as Australians choose to explore closer to home in the face of mounting living costs. The new research, commissioned by TTF Australia and conducted by Pure Profile, reveals that 70 per cent of Australians will take at least one holiday over the Autumn school break. The trend is towards shorter trips of seven days or less, and a strong preference for destinations close to home.
The TTF First Nations Tourism Hub is a comprehensive online resource that will help TTF members to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, businesses and communities. Developed by TTF in partnership with Reconciliation Australia, it is designed to support member business to develop and implement a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). TTF is proud to have partnered with the proud Yorta Yorta siblings Luke and Siena Tieri to commission artwork which will be included on the TTF website and in the Hub. The artwork, titled Daborra Iyawa, meaning ‘pathway as one’ in Yorta Yorta language, depicts community collaboration and inclusion between TTF and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners.
